Google de-indexes some pages
May 21st, 2007Whist using the Domain Popularity Checker Tool that I wrote about several weeks ago, I’ve noticed that all of the number of pages that I have indexed within the search engines has steadily increased (as new content is added) with the exception of one search engine, the big daddy, Google.
If you compare the number of pages indexed figures below, obtained from the tool, for the dates of 26th April and today 21st May you can see that all of the search engines show an increase with the exception of Google:-
21st May 2007
Google - Pages = 1370 Links = 72
Yahoo - Pages = 1073 Links = 301
MSN - 77 Links = 0
Altavista - Pages = 1080 Links = 197
Excite - Pages = 19 Links = 7
AlltheWeb - Pages = 217 Links = 167
Alexa Rank = 310, 658
PR = 1
26th April 2007
Google - Pages = 2000 Links = 53
Yahoo - Pages = 1028 Links = 285
MSN - 71 Links = 0
Altavista - Pages = 1040 Links = 316
Excite - Pages = 0 Links = 0
AlltheWeb - Pages = 195 Links = 274
Alexa Rank = 286,923
PR = 0
My assumption is that Google has seen some of the translated pages as duplicate content and has subsequently removed these. Overall though I am still very happy with the number of pages indexed within Google.

May 17th, 2007Tomakemoneyonline.net Achieves Page Rank 1
May 6th, 2007I’m pleased to announce that this website has just achieved a Google page Rank of 1.
I have checked this with both the Google Toolbar and also the online tool at 9Dir.com which was also mentioned in my previous post Domains Popularity Checker.
This has been achieved in just under 4 months which makes me particularly pleased because of my relative newcomer status to the internet marketing field.
The PR1 status is also a most welcome boost at this exact time because recently I have not been posting as frequently as previously due to other work and family commitments.
