I have just launched a new site Discount Perfume based on the Build a Niche Store Software.

Those nice people at BANS have recently released their latest upgrade termed version 2.0. So I thought why not test out the new software and features with a new site so hence Discount Perfume.

I chose the niche of discount and cheap perfume as it is a high volume sale at eBay and with Christmas approaching it will be a very searched after term. A quick check with wordtracker showed ‘Perfume’ to be a highly searched for term with the keywords ’Discount Pefume’ the most searched for combination using ‘perfume’.

You may notice that the url of the site is actually ‘newperfume.net’. No catchy or short domains for the keywords ‘Discount’ and ‘Perfume’ existed so I chose the short term of newperfume.net and titled the site Discount Perfume.

I’ll be adding some SEO to the site and generally helping the search engines to quickly index the website. Hopefully Discount Perfume will be generating money quite quickly.

Just checking through the SERPS from Google for my targetted search term for this website i.e. Make Money Online and was delighted to see that Google.co.uk returns this website at position 89 for the search term ‘Make Money Online’.

Even though I have not posted regularly for a few months now it appears that all the hard work done to date may be beginning to pay off. I will continue to track the position of this site against the very valuable search term ‘Make Money Online’.

It’s been a while since I last posted, reasons for which I’ll explain in a later post. However I had a pleasant suprise just recentlly when I noticed that this website tomakemoneyonline.net has achieved a Google Page Ranking of PR3.

Previously this site had a long standing PR of 1 and I’m not sure exactly when PR2 or PR3 status was achieved.
After the lack of recent new posting, I’m putting the raising of PR status down to the work undertaken in achieveing good quality inbound links from quality directories and quality related websites.

I’ll be discussing raisng the Google PR of your website in later posts.

You may remember that I also run several static, non-blog, conventional website. These are mostly based on software from Build a Niche Store, whose software I described in my post Add Build A Niche Store To Your Blog.

Well the good people at Build A Niche Store have just released a major upgrade to their software, which is available free to all existing customers. The upgrade has many, many SEO advantages over the previous software, so much that I have just built and made live  a new website the Big Fishing Store, which sells fising items from the huge Ebay sites around the world.

The store sells all of the products contained in the Fishing Cateory of Ebay, not just from the US Ebay site but also the UK, Canadian and Australian Ebay sites.

It will be interesting to compare the performance of this new Ebay store bigfishingstore.com with my existing sites such as great-camping-gear and guitarpart.net.
