Go Go Johnny Chow
I discovered John’s blog very early on in my life as a blogger and its a site that I always follow with interest and understanding, frequently exclaiming ‘why didn’t I think of that?’. As an example, the idea of buying google ads on the sites of other A-list bloggers, congratulating the blogger AND mentioning his own site was pure genius.
John manages to provide a mixture of not just tips and ideas for monetizing your blog but also gives his views on technology and flash cars. So with money, flash cars and gadgets he’s appealing to most of the online techies out there.
I think other bloggers like John Chow’s in your face style because they say ‘hey look at him over there making money from his blog, if he can do that and make it look so easy then I can too!’.
He seems to be very successful and making a good income from his blog and he is also one of the few online bloggers who are actually prepared to come clean with publish just how much money they are making, providing details and breakdowns of the blog earnings.
Kudos to John for suggesting the very original concept of reviewing his blog for something in return. Although I can see why he doing this, to gain more links into his blog, at least the reviewer also gets a link back in return. Win Win situation all round.
