Belated April Fool To Me
I must admit that I’ve been really busy on other projects over the last few days. As a consequence I have not been checking out my favourite blogs via bookmarks or feed. Boy was I surprised when I surfed over to John Chows Blog.
John had sold up! A few days ago he had posted My Last Blog Post where he explained that he had accepted a huge amount of money for his company, which included his blog, other editors would now be taking over, and he was off travelling the world.
I was gob smacked. I knew he was good but was awestruck that he had sold up already and done a runner, the traitor. I scrolled down to see how fellow bloggers were reacting to the news and saw a mixture of congratulation messages, others saying come and visit me, all the best John and then …. nice April Fool John!
John came clean the next day confirming the deception. Ok so I was caught out hook, line and sinker. In my defence today is 3rd April so I was off my guard (yeah I know rubbish excuse).
So John, you got me. Respect.
